Our story

⏱️ 2 min read

Faso Dan Fani. Woven, not produced.

Each loincloth begins with a hand, a thread, a rhythm. We work with partner workshops in Burkina Faso to create fabrics that last, respect, and tell stories.

Where we come from

Mon Faso Dan Fani was born from a simple idea: to honor a living know-how and bring it into the daily lives of those who love real materials. We are a small business run by a woman , rooted in artisanal weaving and committed to fair prices for our partners.

What guides us

  • Time : hours per meter , then (depending on the collections) assembly of the strips.
  • Material : 100% cotton , matte and dense texture, neat finishes.

The loincloth, explained simply

Faso Dan Fani is woven in narrow bands .

  • Most of our loincloths are delivered unassembled (traditional format) — assembly available on request via the Workshop.
  • The Baoulé and Bogolan are assembled (strips joined) and ready for use .
