How to choose the right quantity
To wear :
- Scarf/belt → ½ loincloth
- Pareo/shawl → 1 loincloth
- Simple outfit → 1½ loincloth
- Complete outfit → 2 loincloths
For decoration :
- Cushions/table runner → 1 loincloth
- Sofa blanket → 1.5 loincloth
- Curtains/large project → 2 loincloths
Tip : If you are between two sizes, take the larger one and use the excess as an accessory.

Is the loincloth sold in strips?
Yes, Faso Dan Fani is woven into narrow strips and then joined together edge to edge. Joining of Faso Dan Fani strips is available upon request through our workshop.
The Bogolan and the Baoulé loincloth are sold assembled.
How much for a complete outfit?
Count 2 loincloths . For a sober outfit: 1.5 loincloths .
And for the decoration?
1 loincloth for cushions/table runner; 1.5–2 for throws or curtains.
