Each detail in the design is entirely handcrafted in order to tell a story or convey a message to the recipient. Known to be a fabric that is transmitted in the family line, or could say that the Baoulé loincloth is in itself a history book, passing a message from the ancestors to future generations."font-weight: 400;">Le baoulé loincloth is obtained from natural cotton threads, woven by hand according to a know-how specific to the craftsmen of the Yamoussoukro region on a wooden loom, which makes each loincloth a unique piece in itself.
Clothing, accessories, interior decoration, whatever use you make of it, it will find its place without too much effort and add a touch of originality to your project.

Care recommendation: Minimize washing to maintain color as long as possible. This fabric is traditionally spread out in the sun to eliminate odors due to use. When washing is required, avoid detergents. Hand washing with Marseille soap is recommended. Dry cleaning possible.
** Color transfer may occur on lighter colored fabrics, wash separately.

Before the first wash
- Wash separately in cold water. Slight color bleeding is normal the first few times.
- Adding an anti-fade wipe is recommended.
- Avoid prolonged soaking (> 10 min).
Washing
- Cold delicate wash (30°C max), separate colours
- Mild detergent , no bleach , no fabric softener
- Light spin (≤ 600 rpm)
- Dry flat in the shade (no tumble dryer)
- Medium ironing on the reverse side (iron ●●)
- Gentle dry cleaning possible
